📖Adjust Text Size

For all eyesight

If you find the default text in the elementary OS interface too small or too large, you can always customize the size of system fonts, making them more comfortable to read based on your preferences and visual needs.

To customize the system fonts:

  1. Open the System Settings, and navigate to Desktop --> Text.

  2. Adjust the text size by moving the associated slider or by clicking the plus&minus on the right.

  3. Optionally, enable the Dyslexia-friendly mode to modify the text appearance by adding subtle cues, such as increased letter-spacing and bottom-heavy shapes.

Mind the following:

  • Text adjustment affects the entire system interface.

  • Interface components may change their dimensions to fit the font size.
