# Windows and Corners

Manage hot corners and fullscreen windows

On the **Multitasking** tab, you can set up performing different actions when a pointer enters either of the display corners: from switching to the multitasking view to executing a custom command, and more.

As an additional option, configure the behavior of app windows when maximized or in fullscreen.

To configure hot corners and windows behavior:

1. [Open the System Settings](/elementary-os-user-handbook/get-started/explore-system-settings.md#entering-system-settings), and navigate to **Desktop --> Multitasking**.
2. Assign an action from the drop-down list to each of the four corners. You can always select to do nothing if you don't need any action performed.
3. Select the cases when a window should be moved to a new [workspace](/elementary-os-user-handbook/overview/desktop-tour/multitasking.md#workspaces): when entering fullscreen and/or getting maximized.
