Etcher is an app that safely and easily flash OS images to SD cards and USB drives. You can .

Etcher is that simple

To create an elementary OS install drive, do the following:

  1. Plug in your spare USB flash drive and open Etcher.

  2. Click Select image to choose your downloaded .iso file.

  3. Etcher should automatically detect your USB drive; if not, select the correct one.

  4. Click Flash! It may take a moment to get started.
